Sgt. Brandon Pierce's shoulder in preparation for the Mighty When United NATO Festival held in Vilnius, Lithuania, June 17. The Mighty When United NATO festival showcased deployed Allied forces in Lithuania, their advanced equipment, and invited discussion about NATO's significance to the region. It also highlighted civic spirit, total defense principles, and the importance of the upcoming NATO Summit in Vilnius. Soldiers with the 4th Inf. Div. participated in the event by providing static displays of several tracked vehicles, and manning booths showcasing the M4 rifle, M17 pistol, and 240B squad automatic weapons. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
