An observer coach trainer (OC/T) watches a simulated mass casualty event involving members of the 349th Field Hospital during exercise Global Medic. Global medic is a medical readiness exercise being held in conjunction with Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 91-23-01, at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, on June 15, 2023. The OC/Ts evaluate, suggest changes to improve compliance with procedures, and re-evaluate as units conduct the exercise. CSTX 91-23-01 is a Combat Support Training Exercise that ensures U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short notice and bring capable, combat-ready, and lethal capabilities in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
