1-134th Cavalry Squadron conducts annual training in South Korea

Looking through the trees, the vehicles of A and B Troop, 1-134th Cavalry Squadron sit at dusk at the Twin Bridge Training Area in Korea on June 11, as part of the Squadron’s annual training, Operation Kouma.

The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
