Major Gregory White, (left) Commandant of the Infantry Brigade Combat Team of Arkansas, presents a coin for excellence to a Cavalry Scout (right) from A Troop, 1-134th Cavalry Squadron at the Twin Bridge Training Area, in South Korea, on June 12, 2019, as part of the Squadron’s annual training, Operation Kouma.

The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
