1-134th Cavalry Squadron conducts annual training in South Korea

Mortar men from HHT, 1-134th Cavalry Squadron dump excess charge increments into a hole for destruction at the Manchu Hill Mortar Range, in South Korea, on June 14, 2019, as part of their annual training, Operation Kouma.

The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
