U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Oryon Begay gets hands-on training to familiarize himself with a simulated K-9 mannequin as a part of Global Medic, a medical training exercise held in conjunction with Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 91-23-01, at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, June 12, 2023. Simulated K-9 injuries provide Soldiers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with providing aid to nonhuman companions like military working dogs.
