“My favorite part is reflecting on the past year before blessing the meal. Each of the gathering members, young and old, gets to address the family about anything they wish to say to the group of 40 or more: sometimes intense, most often inspirational speeches of the struggles and one’s blessings in the pursuit of life’s liberties.”
