U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Dylan Dunn, right, and Sgt. Juan Villagran, both influence operating specialist with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, set up a broadcasting system aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), in the Pacific Ocean, June 19, 2023. The 31st MEU Marines insured the readiness of the expeditionary broadcast equipment in order to support the 31st MEU crisis response capabilities. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
