JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 27, 2023) Lt. Lindsey Breedlove, a postanesthesia care unit nurse at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, prepares an instrument tray prior to a patient procedure. Breedlove holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. The native of Marion, Indiana, says, “When you are handed your BSN on graduation day the gravity of your profession hasn't hit you yet. It is not until you are kneeling at a patient’s bedside, holding their hand or wiping their tears, that you are able to grasp the difference you are making in their lives.
