U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Ospreys and CH-53E Super Stallions, assigned to the Marine medium tiltrotor squadron 265 (Rein.) deliver troops during a helicopter raid exercise at the Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area, Australia, June 26, 2023. The raid simulated employing BLT 2/1 Marines to rapidly capture and control objectives essential to operations. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
