Pennsylvania Air National Guardsmen and retired members of the unit gather at the 171st Air Refueling Wing to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pittsburgh based Air National Guard unit on June 11, 2023. The event allowed the past to merge with the present as retired guests could connect with friends and visit the work space they served in to see the changes made since retiring. The event featured a photo display showing the men and women who served at the base through the decades, historic memorabilia, military friendly vendors, a KC-135 aircraft display, and a Pennsylvania Air National Guard Hall of Fame Posthumous Induction Ceremony for former Command Chief of the unit Paul Madaras.
