YIGO, Guam (June 26, 2023) - U.S. Navy Sailors from USS Shiloh (CG 67) take a group photo with staff from Guam Animals In Need (GAIN) and Sailors from the Republic of Singapore Ship (RSS) Dauntless at the animal shelter in Yigo, June 26. The Sailors partnered to bag pet food for distribution to the local community. Naval community outreach projects help to connect service members with the communities they serve. After Typhoon Mawar hit Guam in May 2023, more than 200 forward-deployed Sailors volunteered for community outreach projects to assist the community with typhoon recovery.
