19th Expeditionary Sustainment Commander, Brig. Gen. Frederick L. Crist sits in the chiefs seat in a MLRS rocket launcher belonging to Alpha Battery, 1-38 FAR. Brig. Gen. Crist got a first hand look at the various systems employed by Alpha Battery including an AN/TPQ-53 radar section, M270A1 MLRS and Fire Direction Center. He also took time to speak to Soldiers and get their feedback on the strengths of their respective systems.
