U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center Motorcycle Mentors explained the importance of trip planning and rest stops during the trip. Additionally, they conduct a rider’s safety brief and demonstrate the wearing of the required motorcycle gear. This was followed by a safety briefing, and the use of the T-CLOCK checklist to inspect his motorcycle during a “Fire and Safety Stand-Down” on June 22, 2023 at Sembach Kaserne, Germany. The Medical Readiness Command, Europe headquarters staff, along with members of the Sembach community participated in hands-on demonstrations preparing and educating our families on the possible summer safety hazards that they could experience during their travels and vacations.
