DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (June 8, 2023) U.S. Army Maj. David Ewing, Civil-Military Operations Center chief of the 450th Civil Affairs Battalion, currently deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, and a member of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces repair a desktop in a school at Damerjog, Djibouti, June 8. The 450th Civil Affairs Battalion has provided other support to the school in the past from environmental clean-ups, new desktops, a swing-set, and seesaws. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
