The annual ceremony included 50 rounds of canon fire celebrating the 50 states of America and was a part of the FMWR Independence Day celebration, “Pop Goes the Fort.” The “Iron Thunder” battalion is a member of 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division.
