Ronn assumed command of the organization during a ceremony at the hospital. Col. Edgar Arroyo, Medical Readiness Command, Pacific chief of staff, presided over the ceremony.
He is the first pharmacist to command an Army Medical Center, and joins the Tripler team after serving as commander of Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Healthcare Facility and U.S. Army Health Clinic Brussels in Belgium.
