The 436th Color Guard carries the colors off the parade field in Orlando, Fla., on Nov. 18, 2012. The 436th is a new unit, the last in a recent wave of civil affairs units being stood up across the country to support a growing need the department of defense has identified for trained and ready civil affairs soldiers. The U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) has been meeting the high demand and as a result is one of the most deployed forces in the U.S. Army Reserve. These new units will help reduce the high operational tempo civil affairs soldiers have been enduring for the past 10 years. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Felix R. Fimbres)
