CHICAGO (June 12, 2023) – Operations Specialist 1st Class Devon M. Gonzalez, a Surface Combat Systems Training Command Great Lakes (SCSTC GL) Instructor, welcomes a veteran during an Honor Flight Chicago (HFC) event at Chicago Midway International Airport. Honor Flight Chicago recognizes the bravery, determination and patriotism of our nation’s senior war veterans with a one-of-a-kind journey to Washington D.C. SCSTC GL joined other service members from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard joined several local public service agencies, fraternal organizations and clubs at HFC.
