An all-Reserve aircrew based out of Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., transported a team of weapons loaders and petroleum, oils, and lubricants technicians via C-130H Hercules July 12, 2023, from Chiclayo, Peru, to El Pato Air Base, Peru. Once on the ground at El Pato, the team performed foward-area rearming and refueling operations, offloading fuel directly from the C-130 to into an A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft and exercising the 64th Air Expeditionary Wing's ability to conduct operations at locations with little or no pre-established infrastructure.
