DEDEDO, Guam (July 11, 2023) - A sailor from Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Howard (DDG83),works with a member of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to clean up illegal dumping alongside Island Girl Power property during an international community outreach project.
Joint Region Marianas coordinated the project for service members who volunteered their time in the community while they were on island for exercise Pacific Vanguard. Sailors from the U.S. Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Republic of Korea Navy, and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force participated.
