On July 12, 2023, the Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force Drug Demand Reduction Outreach Task Force presented to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Child Protective Services (CPS) Division Education Specialist team during a professional development event. The purpose was to raise awareness and educate the team about the growing danger of fentanyl and its impact on the community. Dead-On Arrival Curriculum was introduced to the team and explained how they can use it to educate the youth they work with. This will help open channels of communication and promote prevention efforts to those youth most at risk. (Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force Courtesy Photo)
