Galveston District (SWG) and Fort Worth District (SWF) Facility and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) personnel met informally at the Jadwin Building, to discuss many of the new requirements from Headquarters (HQ) and how the field is adapting to them, July 18, 2023. Luke Stevens, SWG Asset Manager, left in blue, and Chris Bryan, SWF Asset Manager and Flood Risk Management Business Line Manager, right in blue, led the discussion, including backlog maintenance management and asset downtime reporting. In addition to discussing new directives, the meeting served as a chance for the two districts to interact and meet counterparts from another area and team build. The meeting lasted two days.
