JOINT BASE CAPE COD, Mass. – Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry Regiment, conducted Military Operations in Urban Terrain training using simulated training ammunition on July 19, 2023. Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Bravo Company, Charlie Company, and Delta Company participated in the training event as part of the battalion’s rear detachment’s annual training. The simulated ammunition brings a level of realism to training due to the physical feedback it provides when Soldiers are hit during the event. Soldiers don protective facemasks and gloves to ensure they are training safely with the simulated munitions.
