Santa Claus, a North Pole native, is lowered to the ground from an HH-60G Pave Hawk by Tech. Sgt. Mike Morrison, 56th Rescue Squadron NCO in charge of standards and evaluations and native of Salisbury, Mo., Dec. 1, 2012. According to Claus, the 56th RQS’s combat search and rescue capabilities, which allow it to execute all-weather search and rescue missions day or night including those in hostile environments, made it an ideal unit to team up with to deliver Christmas cheer.
