A member of the U.S. Marine Corps Marine Wing Communications Squadron 48 conduct tests with their satellite communication equipment on the back of a U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Haddock (WPB-87347) off the coast of La Jolla, Saturday, June 25, 2023.This joint exercise was conducted to test ship-to-shore and air-to-ground communications from multiple platforms, including a U.S. Coast Guard 33-foot Response-Boat Small boat, 87-foot patrol boat, HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter, and Marines on shore at U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego and U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
