Educators from Central and South Texas were able to tour numerous Navy bases and commands during a three day, Educator’s Orientation Visit (EOV) to sunny San Diego, California. During the tour, the group was able to witness the Navy’s air, sea, sub-surface, special warfare, amphibious, and medical capabilities and view various career paths available in those fields. Navy Recruiting Command’s EOV program allows educators to further understand the mission of the Navy. NTAG San Antonio area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
