Religious Program Specialist Petty Officer Second Class Andrea Domek was honored for her professional achievement in the superior performance of her duties while serving as Staff Religious Program Specialist and Instructor at Officer Training Command Newport from October 2021 to September 2022. Petty Officer Domek trained and led 40 religious liaisons and 20 leaders while providing services to over 3,000 Officer Candidate School students.
Petty Officer Domek facilitated 18 sexual assault prevention and response briefs to 18 Officer Candidate School Classes, increasing awareness, and intervention skills for future Naval Officers.
Her spectacular performance led to her selection as Naval Service Training Command's Junior Sailor of the Year, fiscal year 2022.
Petty Officer Domek's professionalism, perseverance, and dedication to duty reflects credit upon her and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service. Award presented by Commander, Captain Craig Mattingly, Commander, Naval Service Training Command, June 1, 2023.
