A CH-47 Chinook and UH-60 Black Hawks, assigned to 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, Task Force (TF) Warhawk, Battle Group Griffin, take off to go conduct an air assault mission carrying ground troops, during Exercise Talisman Sabre, from the Forward Arming and Refueling Point located in the Australian Defence Force training area, in Townsville, Queensland, Australia , July 26, 2023. TF Warhawk will be utilizing their lift capabilities to transport ground troops to their next objective. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key Allies and enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
