U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and U.S. Navy sailors with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD-20) receive and relocate crates of cargo from an EC225 Super Puma helicopter during a replenishment at sea aboard the USS Green Bay (LPD-20), in the Coral Sea, July 29, 2023. Marines and sailors conducted a RAS to allow for the on loading of food and mail. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Expeditionary Strike Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
