U.S. Marines with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and international observers, take part in a rehearsal of concept for a trilateral amphibious assault during Talisman Sabre 23 aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), in the Coral Sea, June 30, 2023. TS23 is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
