Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne played host to country music superstar Craig Morgan July 18 as he visited 160th SOAR, to whom he was once assigned, and the 101st Air Assault training facility where he was once an instructor. Morgan, who is known for chart topping songs such as “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost,” and “Wake up Loving You,” served in the Army for 17 years as a Fire Support Specialist with units such as the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, was Airborne and Air Assault qualified, a Rappel Master and deployed to places like Panama.
