A U.S. Air Force Airman uses techniques used by Native Americans to make a spoon out of grass during a Native American Heritage Month Pow Wow Nov. 30, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. There were more than 100 participants that preformed at the powwow as dancers, artists, musicians and arts and crafts experts, to give airmen at Nellis and Creech Air Force Base the opportunity to experience the Native American culture.
