Sgt. 1st Class Robert Grundy, mechanic, 3-335th Training Support Battalion, Fort Sheridan, Illinois, fires at a pop-up target during Operation Pershing Strike at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Pershing Strike is a Total Army Force effort, between the U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. National Guard and the active duty, led by U.S. Forces Command and executed by First Army, to test the Mobilization Force Generation Installation’s ability to conduct large scale mobilization operations in support of large-scale combat operations.
