U.S. service members with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 23 observe a casualty evacuation familiarization exercise on Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, Aug. 7, 2023. Participants consisted of members from MRF-D 23 Air Combat Element, Ground Combat Element, and Logistic Combat Element. Working together, these elements possess the unique ability to provide essential combat lifesaving care and transportation from point of injury to higher levels of care.
