A U.S. Marine Corps expeditionary airfield technician with Marine Wing Support Squadron 174 (MWSS-174), Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, install PE-36 anchors for prefabricated surface aluminum flat top nested (PSA FTN) airfield matting at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, August 7, 2023. PSA FTN is an easily transported aircraft landing strip that requires minimal manpower to set up during Expeditionary Advanced Basing Operations. This installation allows MWSS-174 to practice rapid employment of the PSA FTN in order to respond to evolving training situations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Hunter J. Jones)
