United States Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey hosts the Chaplain Corps 248th Birthday Prayer Luncheon at the Warrior’s Club on Camp Casey, July 21, 2023. The Chaplain Corps was established July 29, 1775 and is the second oldest branch in the Army. Chaplain (COL) Robert Marsi, the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Pacific Directorate chaplain, gave remarks during the luncheon. “The Chaplain Corps Prayer Luncheon is a time for chaplains to celebrate the 248th anniversary of the corps by giving the community they serve an opportunity to reflect and find peace within, even as chaos surrounds us,” said Sgt. 1st Class Robert Williams, Senior Religious Affairs Noncommissioned Officer, USAG Yongsan-Casey.
