SILVER SPRING, Md. (Aug. 11, 2023) Rear Adm. Guido Valdes, commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, congratulates Capt. William Deniston for his work while serving as commander, Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) at the command’s change of command ceremony. The ceremony, presided over by Valdes, saw Deniston relieved as commander, NMRC by Capt. Franca Jones. NMRC leads the Naval Medical Research and Development enterprise, eight commands throughout the globe which focus on readiness through research and development in support of the Navy, Marine Corps and joint U.S. warfighters.
