During the first Future of Homeland Defense Project workshop, held July 10-14, Robert Naething, Deputy to the Commanding General, U.S. Army North, stressed the importance of taking a step back and slowing down to analyze homeland defense. The Future of Homeland Defense Project is a Deputy Under Secretary of the Army - sponsored project tasking U.S. Army North and fellow commands to better understand the Army’s current and future homeland defense challenges.
