Jordan Perez, from Charlotte, North Carolina, a competitor representing 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), XVIII Airborne Corps, competing in the U.S. Army Forces Command Best Squad Competition 2023, qualifies with an M17 pistol at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Aug. 15, 2023. The Soldiers attempted to qualify with weapon systems such as the M249 machine gun, M17 Pistol, M107 sniper rifle, and the M320 grenade launcher as part of the Best Squad Competition.
