BREMERTON, Wash. (Aug. 7, 2023) – Chief Machinist’s Mate Vicky Talkington, Chief Hospital Corpsman Adriana Sims, and Sonar Technician (Surface) 1st Class Melanie Henderson, represent the Recruit Division Commander shore special program during the MyNavy HR Career Development Symposium (CDS) Pacific Northwest held at Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton, Aug. 7, 2023. Hosted by Navy Personnel Command, the symposium enabled Sailors to learn about and discuss career benefits and opportunities directly with leaders, detailers, community managers, and program representatives. Eligible Sailors can apply to become RDCs and receive Special Duty Assignment Pay, up to 24 months waived off their follow-on sea tour, and a choice of coast after completing a tour at Recruit Training Command.
