British Army Brig. Gen. Owen Lyttle, Commander, 19th Light Brigade, visits his soldiers of 4th Battalion, The Royal Yorkshire Regiment, to assess their training during Northern Strike 2023 on Camp Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 12, 2023. The 19th Light Brigade is designed to command, and force generate the army reserve combat units. The brigade attends NS 23 to improve interoperability, training alongside NATO allies. NS 23 is a premier reserve component training event that integrates both U.S. and partner nation readiness training to build interoperability and strengthen partnerships in an all-domain environment.
