In the basement of the John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex, Scott Franklin, the U.S. Army Chemical Corps Museum director, shows visitors from the Veterans Curation Program a prototype child’s gas mask developed during World War II, in cooperation with Walt Disney. Members from the VCP in St. Louis were on post Friday to learn more about Fort Leonard Wood’s Cultural Resources Management Program and how historic artifacts are archived.
