NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Aug. 18, 2023) – Rear Adm. Yevette M. Davids, acting Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), gives remarks during a change-of-command ceremony for CNSP. During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Yvette Davids, (former) Director, Learning to Action Drive Team, relieved Vice Adm. Roy Kitchener as acting Commander, Naval Surface Forces and acting Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet. CNSP’s mission is to man, train, and equip the surface force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
