U.S. Army Soldiers and SecretarÃa de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) armed forces transport a simulated casualty onto a HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter during Exercise Fuerzas Amigas 2023, held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Aug. 16, 2023. Fuerzas Amigas 2023 is a binational disaster response exercise between the U.S. and Mexican Armed Forces along the southern border region of the U.S. This annual exercise improves readiness and strengthens the cooperative relationship between U.S. and Mexican Armed Forces. MCB Camp Pendleton is committed to supporting operational, joint and bilateral forces by providing high-quality training areas, facilities and resources to ensure mission success.
