U.S. Air Force Airmen and an U.S. Marine with the 36th Contingency Response Squadron and Airmen with the 36th Operations Support Squadron, relay information to pilots in order to safely land an aircraft on the island of Tinian, Aug. 17, 2023. These Airmen and Marine participated in a landing zone safety officer training course which consisted of learning airfield management functions, air traffic control functions and RAWS functions.
