LA UNION, Philippines (Aug. 24. 2023) – Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of San Fernando City, La Union, staff train with Pacific Partnership 2023 humanitarian and disaster relief team, U.S. Hawaiian Army and Air National Guard, and Armed Forces of the Philippines service members to conduct mountain search and rescue training at Parparya Elementary School, Aug. 24. Now in its 18th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
