ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2023) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117), conduct small boat operations to return an officer from the Royal Moroccan Sigma-class corvette frigate RMNS Sultan Moulay Ismail (614), onboard for an officer exchange program as part of exercise Atlas Handshake 2023, Aug. 27, 2023. Paul Ignatius is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by the U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
