Marines and sailors serving with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, stand in formation behind a memorial cross here Dec. 10, 2012, in remembrance of Petty Officer 2nd Class Clayton R. Baeuchamp, a hospital corpsman with the battalion’s Bravo Company, who was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan, Aug. 7. Baeuchamp was 21 years old and a native of Weatherford, Texas.
