Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment Honor Guard present the American flag to the family of U.S. Army Pfc. Arthur C. Barrett at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C., Aug. 30, 2023. Barrett was a member of the 31st Infantry Regiment when Japanese forces invaded the Philippine Islands in December 1941.
